What a win!

Saturday, our Ole Miss Rebels headed down to the Florida swamp to play the Gators in Gainsville. They (Florida) were ranked #4 in the nation, with a Heisman Trophy winner for their quarterback. As we watched the game on tv, we could hardly believe our eyes as the seconds ticked off and we had won the game!! 31-30! One of our defensive players had blocked a Gator extra point to give us a one point lead. Then the entire defense made a 4th down stand to seal the win! It was awesome! All 5 of us were jumping around, screaming and high-fiving! Woooohooo! We always have faith in our Rebels and they finally pulled out a GIANT win!
Well, even though the game was over, it wasn't the end for us. David Kellum, the Ole Miss radio announcer, announced when the team would be landing at the Tupelo Airport later, so when the time came, we jumped in the car and headed out to cheer the Rebels on a little more! After waiting a while, the plane finally landed and the team disembarked! They made our efforts worth it by coming over to the fence and high-fiving us all. We were pumped up for them! The kids had a blast! They were as excited as me and Terry. I'll have to say that's a first for us - meeting the team at the airport - but it was a lot of fun!
Go Rebels!!

We ran into some of Anna and Avery's friends, who were waiting to cheer the Rebels too: Lauren Taylor, Bailey White and Erin Welford

Coach Nutt being interviewed for the Tupelo News -
by the way, this was his 600th win!
