And Baseball Begins.....

This spring, Tanner played on a 7 and 8 year old Park and Rec baseball team. The name of the team was Terminix, who was their sponsor, and he was coached by Jeremy Letson. Since Tanner was only 7, he was not one of the oldest on his team, but he had a great start to the season. This is his first full season of coach-pitch baseball and he seemed to like not hitting off a tee! We love to watch our kids play sports, so we were looking forward to a fun season!

Field Day Fun

One of the exciting things about May, and the end of school, is the fun the kids have after testing is over. Since Parkway is a K-2 school now and they don't have State Tests, starting about the middle of May, it's FUN time - along with a little school work mixed in. Field Day has always been a fun, fun day for the kids, and this year was no different. Tanner's class was pumped up about playing games and they couldn't wait to get wet!! They played tug of war, had sack races, water games and a even a dunking booth. For some reason, Tanner did not want one of the cute tie dye field day tshirts - guess with all the Healthworks tie dye we have at home, he was tired of it?? Who knows! In the afternoon, they got to play on a giant water slide! Tanner had so much fun with his classmates! It was a great day!
