Easter is such a special time. It's full of activities, family, and the remembrance
of our risen Savior.
Tanner had an Easter party at school where he had an egg hunt at Ballard Park and then cookies and snacks full of sugar! It was a fun time full of lots of hugs and laughs. After the party, we left school and the kids were out for 5 full days! Yahooooo!!! We played and played some more! Then slept late and slept late some more! What more could you ask for??

Go Tanner!
Tanner's Kindergarten class! I could bring them ALL home with me!! LOVE them!!
Mike came home for the weekend and Tina and John also came home for a visit. Tina and John came over with Mama Jane and spent most of the day with us on Saturday, and we saw Mike Friday and Saturday night. It was great to spend time with our family members that live so far away.
Dying eggs has always been something we do at Easter each year. Avery, Anna and Tanner worked so hard on them and they looked so good!! But, due to rain on Easter day afternoon, we did not get to have our big egg hunt in Amory with all of our family. We did go to Amory though and visit all of our relatives on the Williams side. It is such a blessing that we all
still get together.

Avery was mad in this picture because she had already finished dying her eggs and wanted to do more
The finished product - almost all of them!
Easter morning the Easter bunny did visit our house and left a few sugary treats. Then it was off to church where Avery and Anna helped decorate a cross with flowers during Sunday School. It was beautiful and symbolized Jesus's death and resurrection. It's always so humbling to really think of what Jesus went through on the cross for us - for every one of us. But what an awesome, awesome thing that death was not the victor and one day we will live with Him in Heaven forever. Wow!
