Par--tay!

Finally - exactly one month after Tanner's "real" 6th birthday - we had his party with his friends! A bowling we did go! Tanner had a blast with all his buds at the local Rebelanes bowling alley. The kids bowled up a storm, but sometimes had trouble letting go of the bowling balls they thought were "theirs!" We learned (once again) how important it is to share! :) Mommy (me) had made bowling shirts for everyone, so they were all decked out. Tanner wanted red for the boys and lime green for the girls. They were a hit and sort of helped us keep track of everyone. Tanner loved having all of his friends there. He even bowled a strike on his very first frame!

After an hour of bowling, we moved to the party room for cake!! Total Chaos!! Isn't it always? The kids loved the "bowling alley" cake I made, but most had a hard time staying in their seats when running and jumping in a tiny room was more appealing! All the kids signed Tanner's "real" bowling pin for a keepsake and left with smiles on their faces.
