Anna started 3rd Grade at Parkway Elementary this year. The third grade is the highest grade at Parkway, so Anna is one of the oldest. It's kind of fun to be the oldest sometimes. Her teacher this year is Leigh Carol Jackson, who was Avery's 3rd grade teacher also. The whole family walked Anna to her class the first day. Anna sweetly posed for a picture outside her classroom and then went in to begin her day. She seemed a little excited about her class, but is really excited about Tanner being at Parkway this year too. Anna seems to have a good class. There are a lot of girls in there and she knows most of the kids. Her good friend, Lauren Taylor, is in her class again this year, which should be fun.
Just like with Avery and Tanner, it's hard to believe Anna is already in the 3rd grade. She had a good 2nd grade year last year. She made some good friends and made really good grades. She works hard with her school work and, like Avery, is self-motivated. They have some fun things planned in her class this year, with the Presidential election coming up and the summer Olympics going on right now. I hope she will continue to like school and work hard.
God has blessed Anna in many ways and has a plan for her life. I'm so thankful God chose me to be Anna, Avery and Tanner's mom. As she goes through this school year, my prayer is that she will look to Him for guidance, study hard, play hard, make some special friends, and keep her sweet, sweet spirit.
