At the end of the regular baseball season, Tanner wanted to try out for the All Star team for his age group, and - woohoo!! - he made it! He was excited to be on a new team with some kids he already knew, and some new faces too! His coach was Rick Reddout. Coach Rick asked Terry to be an assistant, so Tanner's Daddy got to coach him for the first time! For many years, Terry has coached one of our girls in softball, so he was excited to finally get to be on a baseball field with Tanner as his coach!
The All Star team spent a few weeks practicing, then played in 3 tournaments, the final being the State Tournament. The boys worked hard and had a lot of fun! They got better every game but didn't win very much. Even though they didn't win many games, Tanner made some new friends and had a blast! They had a swimming party at the Reddouts house to end the All Star season and it was the icing on the cake! We are very proud of Tanner for working so hard and improving in many ways. Way to go Tanner!!
