Two days after we celebrated Gran's birthday, it was time to celebrate Terry's. Since part of his present was a trip to the beach, and we were leaving 2 days later, Terry wanted to "eat in" for his birthday dinner. I cooked for him, and Paige and Gran came over to help us celebrate. After dinner, we sang "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed a piece of Terry's favorite butternut cake. Then it was on to presents. Since Terry had given me a trip to St. Louis to see the Cardinals play for my birthday, I decided to give him a trip to the beach! ha. Along with a golf club driver that was both Father's Day and Birthday present, a light to wear on his cap in the early mornings when he's running, and a gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods, Terry had a good haul.
Terry is such a blessing to our family. He's a great husband and Daddy and I thank God for him every day.
