May was a fun month. School wrapping up, recitals, another ball season starting - and a wedding on a riverboat! At the end of May, Terry's cousin, Amanda, got married in Memphis on a riverboat. The kids had never been on a riverboat - I'm not sure if they had even seen one before - so it was a new adventure! Believe it or not, the wedding was a fairly casual affair. The groom didn't even wear a suit. So, we casually dressed up and boarded the boat.

There was a fireworks show celebrating Memphis in May.
After the wedding ceremony, eating, and watching a fireworks show over the river, we had more time to spend on the boat before it docked to let us off. Avery had my camera and took some random shots. I thought they were pretty good so I included them!

We had a fun time at the riverboat wedding. A first for all of us! The only downside was we were on the boat for 4 hours, so we had some time to kill. It's amazing what you can come up with to pass the time..... Ha! (games, random picture taking, etc)
We are very happy for Amanda and John Michael and wish them a blessed and happy future together! We are glad we got to be a part of their special day!
