Easter morning the kids awoke to Easter baskets filled with goodies from the Easter Bunny. Avery and Anna were still half asleep, but Tanner was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! The Easter Bunny even left a note for the kids, reminding them that even though the goodies are fun, we're celebrating a risen savior!
Guess what Tanner got in his basket??
Anna got some goggles too! And an Ole Miss basketball goal! Avery was MIA - I guess
she's getting too old for the hoopla of the Easter Bunny.
Posing with the goggles on
After checking out Easter baskets, we all got ready for church. The kids donned their Easter clothes and posed for a few pictures.

Later that afternoon, we headed to Amory to the Williams' family get-together. There are
so many of us, we have to go to the Amory Community Center. We eat and talk and talk and eat. At Easter, the egg hunt comes first. The older kids hide the eggs while the younger ones anxiously await the signal. As a kid, I remember vividly waiting in the den of Grandmama's house for my aunts to come give us the signal. Then it was a mad dash!! It is the same for the kids today!
Here they go!!!!
Eggs are hunted.....
Then all the kids are required to pose for more pictures!! These are all of my cousins' kids.
I love having such a big family!!
