It seems as if everything I write about involves a ball, but I guess that is a big part of our lives.......so here's another one!
Summer has been full of playing ball! Anna moved up to kid-pitch softball this year and played on team Meineke. For several years, Terry has coached one of our girls in softball, and this year, he coached Anna so she could move up to kid-pitch a little early. Since he had coached Avery last year, it was Anna's turn anyway. They had a great year and ended up winning their park and rec league! Anna played 1st base most of the year and had a great season batting (she didn't strike out all season until the next to last game!). She has been a very consistent hitter. It's been a fun season, filled with lots of learning and new friends!
