Anna has officially turned 9! She is almost to double digits - but I am definitely NOT trying to rush her there! Yesterday we celebrated Anna's birthday with our family and Gran. We did our traditional thing and went out to eat. Anna chose Outback, so we headed there for a bloomin' onion! Then we did our 2nd traditional thing and went to Baskin Robbins for an ice cream cake (cookie dough ice cream with chocolate cake!). We came home, sang Happy Birthday, devoured our cake, then Anna opened her presents. It was a fun and special time, as birthdays always are at our house.
Anna, we love you so much and treasure every year! I thank God all the time for choosing me to be ya'll's Mama. May God continue to bless you in all that you do, and may your life grow to be a blessing back to God. Stay sweet and funny!
